Perspective Of Yet Another Night Owl

Tribute~John M. Chartak…

I don’t really know where to begin.  This page is a tribute to my hero, my daddy, John M. Chartak. (1951-2004 RIP)  My dad was a terrific person although I didn’t always show that I knew that.  What teenager really does??  He was loving, strict, fun, good spirited, hard working, and was always there for me no matter what.  So this slide show is kind of a walk down memory lane.  There are so many memories that I carry with me, these photos don’t even begin to touch on them. The music embeded in the slide show was not my first choice. If I could have, I would have used Angel by Sarah Mclachlan & Live Like You Were Dying by Tim McGraw.

Forgive me if some of the pictures are not in chronological order.  It’s late.

Thank you. Something about being a Daddy’s girl, that never goes away. 🙂

Semi-Charmed, before MK I was a Corp Accountant 60/70 hours a week/Salaried, kids being raised by babysitters because I was pursuing My Career, when my dad (my hero) -(he had always been so strong) was diagnosised with leukemia at 57, he lost the battle less than a year later. It was then that I realized how messed up my priorities were and put my goals in place to become a director. Now I do have way more time for what’s important!
(I was the oldest of 4 girls -so I was really like daddy’s boy).
So seeing your tribute really touched me.

Have a Very Special Day, Pink hugs, MK4ME

Msmkpink, thank you very much. I am a big time Daddy’s girl (just in case that wasn’t obvious). One of these days I may get around an “I Remember When” of my kids growing up, but there are so many years pictures to choose from! Those 3 little ones in the last photo will be 15, 12, & 8 in the coming few months.

Cousin Ron, I just recently started blogging again and honestly, I don’t know if I ever responded to your post here. I would love to get this blog going again and have been posting here and there, but I would also like to bring this page to the forefront again…maybe even redo the tribute. Since I made this, I have a lot more I could add. ❤ Krysti

I’m totally bummed out that you can’t see the tribute photos anymore. I don’t think I saved this on my computer.
