The end of summer is almost here and the 2007 Summer[end] Promotion of Mary Kay is one of my favorites yet! There is a choice for guys and gals to fit most budgets. There are many gift ideas in September’s Applause Magazine and InTouch. That said, on occasion, I may review a Mary Kay product and post about it. This will be my first.

My favorite gift set in the current summer promotion is the Back to School Set (pictured below).

Gift Ideas For Back To School

The set includes MK Acne Treatment Gel, Beauty Blotters Oil Absorbing Tissues, MK Facial Cleansing Cloths, MK Tinted Moisturizer w/SPF 20, & MK Signature Nourishine Lip Gloss. This is a great gift for that high school or college student that you know. Even for you mom’s with acne prone and oily skin. I personally use all of these products myself, as I have combo/oily skin. The Acne Treatment Gel for those occasional break outs and problem areas. The facial cleansing clothes are great for a quick wash, on the go and weekend camping trips. I love the sheer coverage of the tinted moisturizer (so does my teen age daughter) and the added sun protection is a bonus.

Paula’s Choice  has also reviewed the Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel and rates it a “Paula’s Pick”!
Paula’s Choice says: “Paula's Pick Acne Treatment Gel ($7.00 for 1.5 ounces) contains 5% benzoyl peroxide in a non-irritating gel formulation. This would work fine as a disinfectant for acne-prone skin.”
