This weekend we are planning a trip to Tamarack, West Virginia. I cannot wait to get out of town for the weekend. I have worked very hard this week to have both Saturday and Sunday off with the family. All I want to do is sneak away with them all, high in the mountains where our cell phones do NOT work. I want to shop for hand-blown glass this weekend and maybe some other intriguing gifts for Christmas. Some of what we are looking at is at this website: http://www.tamarackwv.com/. Youth Football season ended last week for us when my son and daughters’ teams were knocked out in the playoffs. The Championship Games were played today. We didn’t see the games, our first Saturday morning off since September.
I am working a bit more now with the unused football hours. It’s a great chance to give my assistant manager a break. He has been working quite hard and a lot of hours so that I could coach and be as active as possible in my kids’ activities. So, I closed tonight. I don’t think I have ever worked a Saturday, even in the pizza business. I know it sounds weird (most request Sunday) but I have always reserved Saturday for family. I quickly got over it, but it did feel odd to me to be headed to work on a Saturday.
I miss football season already. I miss the girls practicing their cheers. The hugs and smiles and hard work, even when they would rather be playing “webkins”. I miss all the kids playing and having fun. The total parental support of hundreds of parents. I miss the games and wish I had gotten up and went to watch the Championship games today. I was being lazy and well, frankly, it’s gotten very cold lately. I hate the cold. (more…)
For giggles today, I thought I would check out Pink Truth and see if I could still log on. Guess, what?? I can. I think it is funny that I still have not yet been banned or had any of my privileges taken away. It could be that no one visits that stupid ass site anymore. That would make it unnecessary to ban me. I could be the only “user” of the site. LOL.
So, Mole #1 came out admitting my dirty deeds, even put my real name out there for the “Queen” herself to see, and nada. I feel so unloved by Tracy Coenen. Tracy removed the existence of so many and yet there is me, who broke the rules at PT, and I am still allowed to log on, post, etc. Hmmmm, must be selective punishments and rule applications. I wonder how she keeps it all straight.

Normally I don’t copy and post things from PT to my blog. I did send some to DUH, but you all know that already. Today I thought I would check my PT karma one last time, copy and save it here. For the scrapbook, so to speak. This is the Karma Change Log for me on PT as amended by TC/PT on or before 9/24/07. I know High Hopes had given me some, and it’s gone from the list. Click! Poof! There are a couple missing in fact. You might say: computer glitch? I say: Tracy Coenen moderation.
I also noticed in the Karma Statistic box that High Hopes is no longer listed. She had given and received a lot of karma. Now she doesn’t appear to have existed. If I recall (by memory obviously) High Hopes had been applauded more than Tracy currently has now and was ABOVE Tracy on that list. Reminds me of when Erin disappeared from the list of smited users a little while back. Click! Poof! Boy, it must be convenient to delete away someones existence so you can be on top. Oh, the beauty of caches (or posts like this) on the internet.
Here is my Karma Change Log (what is left of it), as amended by PT on or before 9/24/07, which is not completely accurate like I stated above. The Karma statistics (as of 9/24/07) are below that. Sorry if it’s hard to read but apparently the ‘copy and paste’ thing is biting me in the ass and I had to reformat it. Hhhmmmm must be karma of a mole!

Since I announced that I was Mole #1 (see post: The Mole Comes Out), the curiosity of my PT identity has peaked. On a post called Shay’s Good Bye Cruel World at Banned from the Bitchfest, a few fellow biatches have been trying to guess my Pink Truth screen name. As I was responding to one of the posts, I thought to myself, this game is fun, but it’s not the BFBF biatches that should be “playing” Ms. Investigator. I mean, they never said they were the great fraud investigator. It was the Ms. Self-proclaimed Awesome Fraud Investigator herself, Tracy Coenen. I guess TC doesn’t want to play my lowly little “Guess the Mole” game.

Those of you that have been following the MK, anti-MK, PT, anti-PT blogs “Blog Wars” in my previous posts http://nightowlmom.wordpress.com/2007/06/14/the-blog-wars/ and http://nightowlmom.wordpress.com/2007/06/22/blog-wars-its-all-about-respect/, and on the numerous blogs that seem to grow by the day, you obviously know that PT has had a mole, two or three. Who am I kidding?? There are quite a few. Even in her little group of Mavens, she has a mole or two. I for one, was never a Maven. (Thank God.) Never asked to be one either. But I was Mole #1. I have had quite a few visitors to my blog and I have posted many comments on other blogs. When was someone going to tell me that I do not know how to spell the word “definitely”?? I am sure that I have other typos, but those are most likely typos. I even take the extra time to type ”definitely” carefully and did not realize until tonight that I have been misspelling it for years! I have always spelled it: d-e-f-i-n-A-t-e-l-y. Now, I am not asking the blog world to pick apart my posts, but if you should happen to notice that I am consistently spelling the same word wrong, please let me know. And before you tell me to use the spell-check, you should know that I do. The WordPress spell check apparently does not catch this mistake. Thanks a bunch!

I have a MySpace page and belong to quite a few pro-MK Groups on MySpace. Many of these groups try to keep the atmospheres there positive. If we wanted an anti-MK site/group, we would either create one or go visit one, right? I am a firm believer that one should not go to someone else’s sandbox and create a bunch of mud. If you want to muddy your sand box, fine, but please don’t muddy up mine. If you can do that for me, I will do the same for you. It all boils down to respect! (more…)

Battle of the Blogs
If you have been reading up on Mary Kay, I am sure you have seen the numerous blogs out there, both pro and anti-MK. It’s even gone a step further and now there are blogs that are “anti anti”. There are more blogs out there, but the few listed here are the ones I am going to talk about today. Since I don’t want this blog to be a Blog war or a Pro or Anti-MK blog, this is probably the only post I will have that refers to all this.
Background: I found these when I was looking for information about MK after joining this year. I reviewed them, had lots of questions, got some answers, and made my decision to stay with MK as a consultant. I have no desire to become a team leader or director. I am not out to make millions either. I just want to have some fun with it and if I earn some extra spending money, hey that’s a bonus I won’t throw away! That said, I think someone getting involved with MK now, should know about these blogs before getting sucked into one over the other. I am going to try and be fair to all in this post, but I have formed my own opinions which I am sure will shine through. I am sure someone may not like what I have to say, but oh well. Remember, all bogs are full of opinions that some may or may not agree with. That is the great thing about opinions; we all have a right to have them. (more…)
